Best Area Rugs for a high-traffic entryway that won’t show dirt?

My front door leads directly to the living room and the mud factor is literally there. I need some suggestions for Area Rugs that are durable but still look “designer.” I would be inclined to go with an abstract print or a darker earth colour (such as those sage greens that are in the current trend). On abodelook I had discovered some low-pile performance that I could get- in fact are they superior to shag on high traffic?
