Numerous people don’t assume that the above mentioned statement applies because they don’t understand the basics of weight loss.

For sure there are diets which promise you are going to lose 10 pounds in two weeks but many of those diets aren’t sustainable. When you decide to go on one of those diets you are going to lose weight, although it’s mainly water, not the weight that you would like to lose. After you complete or go off this diet, and you’ll as most of them are boring and also you go back to consuming the foods that you like, you are going to gain the fat you lost and much more since you did not change the eating behaviour of yours while on the diet plan.
So how can losing weight be easy? Initially you have to set yourself reasonable and attainable goals. Use the SMART method of aim setting:
Certain – establish a target goal for the fat loss of yours, keep to a rather small number say 2 to 3 pounds
Measurable – keep a record of your progress in a Weight Loss Journal
Achievable – make the aim you set something that’s possible to attain.
Realistic – don’t make an effort to shed all the fat all at once, remember this is a marathon
