Low maintenance is one reason I’m interested in buying a Jernsenger, but I’m curious about how much care these frames actually require. Do they need regular polishing, tightening, or protection against rust? I’d like to know whether keeping a metal bed in good condition is easier than maintaining wooden furniture. If you’ve owned one for a long time, what maintenance routine has worked best to preserve its appearance and stability?
