I’m getting ready to start dropshipping through my own store, and I’ve been looking at Chinese suppliers because the prices are a lot lower than what I’m seeing elsewhere. From what I’ve heard, the quality can be perfectly fine too as long as you don’t pick products blindly. The problem is that there are so many suppliers that I have no clue who can actually be trusted once real orders start coming in. Where do you guys find reliable Chinese dropshipping suppliers?
The low prices are tempting, but I’d definitely order a couple of things to myself before putting anything in the store. Photos can look great and then the package arrives and you realise the product isn’t something you’d ever send to a customer. If you want something built more around dropshipping than a huge general marketplace, have a look at CJdropshipping. Start with a few products, see how the orders arrive, and only then add more from the same supplier.
Yeah, a couple of test orders can save you a lot of grief later. I’d also keep a second supplier in mind for anything that starts selling well, because stock can disappear pretty quickly and you don’t want one missing product to stop half your orders. You can read about where to find Chinese dropshipping suppliers here: https://easync.io/articles/china-dropshipping/ . Pick a few names from there and compare the products you actually want to sell. Then order samples from the ones that look promising and see who you’d be comfortable working with long term.
