'Stewards attacked' as Birmingham and Leeds United fans clash

The ugly scenes then continued outside the ground where police horses were drafted in to keep rival fans apart in a tense stand-off which lasted for 45 minutes. But West Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses to anyone who saw the disorder.’Chief Inspector Jon Arrowsuch, Match Commander of the event, said: ‘Our enquires are ongoing into the incidents which took place at this afternoon’s game.
