So I’ve had my C7 Stingray for a couple of years now and honestly, it’s been pretty reliable, but I’m starting to get to that mileage where I want to be a bit more proactive about maintenance rather than just waiting for something to break. The thing is, every time I call up a general workshop and tell them it’s a Corvette, I can almost hear them hesitate on the phone, and that doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence. I’ve had a few basic services done at the dealer, but the prices are just insane for what is essentially an oil change and a visual inspection, and I’m pretty sure they’re not doing anything special that justifies the cost. I’ve been asking around in some of the local car groups and a few guys mentioned that finding a place that offers Professional Corvette Service in Abu Dhabi is the key to keeping these cars running properly without breaking the bank. I’m particularly interested in finding somewhere that understands the dry sump oil system on these cars because I’ve heard horror stories about places overfilling them and causing all sorts of issues. If anyone here has found a reliable independent specialist who actually treats these cars with the respect they deserve, I’d really appreciate some recommendations before I end up back at the dealer out of desperation.
